I've been tagged by Maureen, so here goes:
Seven Things:
1. I am one of six children (three boys and three girls). Growing up, we shared one bathroom. It CAN be done. I'm married to Michael, who also happens to be one of six children (three boys and three girls).
2. There are only two things I cannot (or will not) eat: mayonnaise and canteloupe.
3. I was born in Vilsek, Germany. Yup, I'm an Army brat.
4. We are in the midst of building our home (this is a first for us). I quickly discovered that I have champagne taste. And a beer budget.
5. My labor with my second son was 50 minutes, start to finish. SCARY because we almost didn't make it to the hospital. And on the mad rush to get there, as my husband was begging me not to push, he ran over a opposum.
6. I've never liked opposums.
7. There's no sweeter sound than that of children singing. It always makes me cry.

I hope we get to meet someday too...I think that Olivia and Oakley would give us a run for our money, but I'm willing to try! The opossum story is funny....man that was a fast labor!!
Jana,
I got your comment, Thanks! I have tried to email you a few times and I think I may have the wrong address. Let me know and I will try again.
Give sweet Oakley a hug.
Have a great week
Sarah
That was a nice post to get to know you a little better. I would have the same problem if I was building a house ;)
I just found your blog! We have 4 boys and adopted Maggie this past Spring. I am assuming that your daughter was around the same age as Maggie when you adopted her. I am looking forward to catching up on your journey. Like I need another blog to follow, but nice to meet you~
I love you even if you are weird. LOL
Love the oppossum story! I once had an oppossum crawling around in my roof! Yikes!
Blessings,
Sarah
Happy Thanksgiving to you and
your family..................
Mary
You have disappeared from blogging world for way to long so I have TAGGED you!
How are you and your family?
Donna
mom to Lena and Macey
Hi Mrs. Curd, my name is Evonne Highley I live in Northern, VA and I used to work with your husband years ago @ Wendy's of all places while he was going to college. My mom Barbara Barber works with Mike @ Holiday Inn. Mike had shared your blog spot about your daughter with my mom and so here I am checking out your darling little girl. You guys have a beautiful family and may GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!! I'm not sure if Mike ever shared this with you or not, but 2 years in Feb will be my saving grace day. I lost my left leg from the flesh eating bacteria and had a pretty rough go and almost didn't survive this ordeal. BUT through GOD's mercy and grace he allowed me to live and continue life with my husband and 2 amazing children. I think we tend to take our health and other things for granted. So if I may say, enjoy those beautiful children each and every single day. Take care and I'm sorry I wrote a book but I just wanted you to know who this stranger out of nowhere was writing on your blog. Take care and may GOD bless you ALL. Merry Christmas Blessings Evonne
